Michael Buczkowski started playing the violin when he was three years old, taught by Jean Grieve at the Oakville Suzuki Association. He went on to play in the HMYO (now the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra). At Wilfred Laurier University he studied with Jerzy Kaplanek of the Penderecki string quartet. Michael is learning about bow repair at The Sound Post in Toronto and the University of New Hampshire Violin Craftsmanship Institute. Michael has achieved his Suzuki level 1 teacher training and attended the Young Artist Program at SW Ontario Suzuki Institute.
