Dylan Sanchez has been playing the violin since he was six years old and the piano since he was four. He received a mark of first-class honours with distinction for his grade 9 piano exam and first class honours for both his grade eight violin exam and his grade ten piano exam. He has participated in many music festivals for both violin and piano, winning numerous awards, twice being invited to the provincial music competition. In 2017 he performed at the Burlington Music Festival Gala. In 2018 his chamber group performed at the Peel Music Festival Gala. He also enjoys attending classical music concerts, composing, and playing tennis, when he is not practicing.
