Celinda Ma is a grade 12 student at White Oaks Secondary School and has been involved with music since the age of 5. She has played the violin for the past 12 years and has completed her RCM grade 10 violin exam with first class honors. She has also played the piano for around 3 years before doing her RCM grade 8 exam. Over the course of these years, Celinda has been exploring different genres of music and is also learning music harmony and history. She wishes to take her Intermediate History exam soon.
After learning about her own passions in music, Celinda has also begun teaching music herself at Mississauga Piano Studios, where she teaches both violin and piano to her students. This will be her second year playing with the Oakville Symphony and she looks forward to another great season.
