Born in England, Anna Hewitt is grateful to have spent most of her life in Canada, and has called Oakville home since 1989.
Anna holds a degree from Oxford University in Modern Languages and a Magazine Journalism certificate from Ryerson. After an early career writing and editing manuals for legal software, Anna stayed home to support her children and later, step-children. For ten years she assisted the wonderful trainers at the Lions Foundation Dog Guides of Canada in Oakville.
Anna brings her experience in technology and written communication to the Board, keeping the Symphony’s website current and engaging with the wider community via its social media accounts. She enjoys meeting many audience members, supporters and musicians in person in her role as past-president of the board of directors.
