Andy Kenins works as a corporate and not-for-profit director, following his retirement as a partner in the financial services practice at KPMG in Toronto.

In the not for profit sector Andy was previously on the board and chaired the Finance and Audit Committee of Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. He also worked with Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir over a period of nine years, in roles including Chair of the board. Andy also served for several years on the board of the Canadian Children’s Opera Company. In the corporate sector, Andy chairs the board of Tarion Warranty Corporation and is a board member of SBI Canada Bank.

Andy has a deep family background in the arts. His father was a well known Canadian composer and music professor at the University of Toronto, while both of his daughters are graduates of leading fine arts programmes at Canadian universities.

At the Oakville Symphony, Andy chairs the Finance Committee, and contributes with his experience and passion for arts in general and orchestras specifically.
